a dog initially running at the speed of 2m/s,accelerated at a constant rate of 1.5m/s for 5 second.calculate the distance covered by the dog from start and calculate the final velocity​

Initial velocity= 2 m/s

Acceleration= 1.5 m/s^2

Time= 5 s

a. Distance

= velocity × time

= 1.5 m/s × 5 s

= 7.5 m

b. Final velocity

v= u + at

= 2 m/s + 1.5 m/s^2 × 5 s

= 2 m/s + 15/2 m/s

= 4 m/s + 15 m/s / 2

= 19/2 m/s = 9.5 m/s

Thus, distance is 7.5 m and final velocity is 9.5 m/s.
