b. Final velocity
v= u + at
= 2 m/s + 1.5 m/s^2 × 5 s
= 2 m/s + 15/2 m/s
= 4 m/s + 15 m/s / 2
= 19/2 m/s = 9.5 m/s
Thus, distance is 7.5 m and final velocity is 9.5 m/s.
