Answer:

here

cost of white washed = Rs. 498.96

cost per sq. metre = Rs. 2

(i) surface area of the dome = 498.96/2

= 249.98m

sq.

(ii) SA of the hemispherical dome = 2pi.

r×r

=> 249.98 = 2 × 22/7 × r×r

=> 249.98×7/44 = r×r

=> 39.76954 = r×r

=> sq. root 39.7654 = r

=> 6.3 m = r

volume of the air present = 2/3pi.×r×r×r

=2/3×22/7×6.3×6.3×6.3

= 44 × 6.3 × 0.9 × 2.1

= 277.2 × 1.89

= 522.908 m cube

hope it helps
