Length (l) = 5m and breath (b) = 4m

Dimensions of the wall:

Length (L) = 10m and Breath (B) = 10m

Area of the painting wall,

⇒ Area of the painting wall - area of door

⇒ L × b - l × b

⇒ 10m × 10m - 5m × 4m

⇒ 100m² - 20m²

⇒ 80m² ---------- (1)

Labour charges of painting 1m² wall = Rs. 2.50

Labour charges of painting 80m² wall = 80 × 2.50 = Rs. 200

∴ Labour charges of painting 80m² wall is Rs. 200.
