A door is in the shape of a rectangle surmounted by a semicircle. If the width of the door is 4 ft and the height of the door is 10.25 ft , find the total area of the door. ​

height of door =10.25.

and door is surmounted by a semicircle or radius =2.

Total area of door =area of rectangle +area of semicircle 

−lb+πr2/2

=4×10.25+6.+(2)^2×3.14/2

=41.00+6.28

[Total area of door =47.28 sq.unit]
