Given,
Length of door=2 m
Breadth of door=1 m
Length of wall=4.5 m
Breadth of wall=3.6 m
To find,
Cost of whitewashing the wall
ATQ,
Cost of whitewashing=Area of wall to be white washed×Cost per m²
Now,
Area of wall=Length×Breadth
=4.5×3.6
=16.2 m²
Again,
Area of door=Length×Breadth
=2×1
=2 m²
Now,
Area of wall to be whitewashed=
Area of wall-Area of door=16.2-2=14.2 m²
Now,
Cost of whitewashing=Area of wall to be whitewashed×Cost per m²
=14.2×20
=₹ 284

Hope this helps you!

Answer:

Given:

Length of wall = 4.5m

Length of wall = 4.5mBreadth of wall = 3.6m

Length of wall = 4.5mBreadth of wall = 3.6mLength of door = 2m

Length of wall = 4.5mBreadth of wall = 3.6mLength of door = 2mm Breadth door = 1m

To Find :

Area on the wall to be painted and what will be the cost at the rate of ruppes
