Step-by-step explanation:

The probablity of that both are rust is 1/2 as 25 nuts and 75 bolts are rusted so the probablity will be 100/200 or 50%.

The probablity that both are nuts is 150/200 = 3/4 or 75%.

Hope it will help u^_^

Answer:

62.5%

Step-by-step explanation:

no of bolts = 50

no of nuts = 150

total no of items = 50+150

= 200

probability of the item to be a bolt

= 50 / 200

probability of the items to be rusted

= 100/200

probability of both bolt and rusted items

= 25/200

probability that is bolt and rusted

= 50/200 + 100/200 -25/200

= 50+100-25/200

= 0.625

= 62.5 %
