The given quotation was pronounced by A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. He was a great scientist. He is known to all as a missile man of India. One of my friends wanted to be a teacher. But he was not a good studentt. Even his family was not financially strong. He did not get support not only from family but also from anybody else. Slowly he became older and most of the friends got married except he. Family forced him to find a job. The situation and position was too much pathetic. But his will became more stronger than before. He worked hard despite his bad conditions. His dream did not let him sleep until he got success. It's true that he didn't become a teacher for not completing B.Ed due to financial problems. So he decided to give lessons with free of cost. Now he is the teacher of those students who are financially weak. He is aked for guest lecturer but he denied because he got kick through the whole life that there is no value for poor people. Society rejected him but now he is warmly welcomed for his teaching profession. This the dream which doesn't let you sleep.
It is absolutely true a dream is not what you experience in your sleep. A dream is that which does not let you sleep. Here, by dream we mean a strong wish or desire that we want to have fulfilled or a goal that we earnestly pursue to make it a reality.
I had a dream to top in the exams. I knew it would give me and my parents immense happiness. This desire would not let me sleep. So, I would burn the midnight oil. I would use my most of free time in studies. This went on until the exams.
When the result was announced, my dream was realized. I not only topped in the school, but throughout the city. Then I realized the truth hidden in the words of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
