I have seen above said words printed on many books, newspaper and hoardings but recently I got a chance to encounter it. My cousin who completed her 10th class with very less marks and from Hindi medium after watching a show ”Good Doctor” decided to become a doctor. She insisted that she wanted to study her higher secondary in science medium. He4 parents adviced her otherwise. But she was relectant.
we all knew that she was mediocre in studies And science stream is one of he difficult stream for a Hindi medium student. due to her continuouse requests her parents agreed to let her study in science stream and pursue her dreams.
she worked very hard in her senior secondary and scored 80% in the final exams. These days, a medical aspirant has to clear NEET exams to score a admission in private as well as in government colleges.
she appeared in NEET exam soon after her 12th Board but unfortunately could not clear it. She decided to drop one more year and try again. She reappeared in exam with full preparation but still could not score good enough marks to get a medical seat and she decided to give one more chance.
Her second drop year was very difficult for her as all the relatives used to ridicule her for her stubbornnes, even her parents told her not to wate her time but she was determined that she will do it at any cost.
she used to wake up Early and revise as much as she can. She even took help of her teachers and friends who were studying in big medical entrance exam preparing institutions. langauge was a big issue for her but thankfully that year Government decided to print NEET exam in various langauge.
when the time came, she appeared in NEET exam and waited for result egarly. On the day of results, she woke up early and checked her result. And indeed her hard work paid off. She scored 2digit rank in exam and able to get admission in AIIMS, New Delhi.
she is living her dram now. Her dream of wearing white coat and serve people.
