A drier is fed with 100 kgs per hour of wet substance containing 10% moisture. It is
dried to a final product containing 2% Moisture. In the counter current direction, Air
enters with a humidity of 0.01 kg of water vapor per kg of dry air and leaves with a
moisture content of 0.015 kg of water per kg of dry air. Estimate the quantity of air
needed at the inlet to dryer, if the air enters at 303 K and at 1 atm pressure. Also,
estimate the flow rate of dried product leaving.​
