A drinking glass is in the shape of a frustum of a cone of height 14cm .The diameter of its two circular ends are 16cm and12cm. Find the capacity of the glass.

Given, diameter of circular ends are 16 cm and 12 cm.


Height of frustrum of the cone (h) = 14 cm


Radius of one circular end (r1) = 8 cm


radius of other circular end (r2) = cm = 6 cm


Capacity of the glass= Volume of the frustrum of the cone


= 1/3 pi (r1^2+r1r2+r2^2)h


Solve it and u will get


Volume= 2170.66 cm3
