Initial velocity of the bus, u = 90 km/h = 25 m/s

Final velocity of the bus, v = 60 km/h = 16.66 m/s

Time taken to cover the distance, t = 5 s

Acceleration of the bus = a

By using the formula, v = u + at

• 25 = 16.66 + (a)(5)

• 8.3 = (a)(5)

• a = \dfrac{8.3}{5}

a = 1.6 m/s²
