This observation shows that the particles of matter have intermolecular spaces. The intermolecular spaces in liquids is fair enough to let the diver pass through it.

Hey!

A diver can swin easily in water.
How?
This is due to some properties of water. Some properties are mentioned below -:
• Compressibility - Water can be compressed easily, so when a diver dives, he doesn't get injured and is able to dive easily.
• Liquid has intermolecular spaces between their particles - When a diver dives, the spaces between liquid gets filled with molecules of water and space for diving is created and thus a diver dives in the vacant space.
These two properties help a diver dive in water easily.
