A driver of train 'A' travelling at a speed
of 54 km/hr, and then it retards and
stops
5 sec. another train 'B' is
travelling on parallel track with a speed
of 36 km/hr . then applies brake and stopes
in 10 sec. on the v-t graph plot
the graph of both the train and also
find the dist in both cases, travelled
by the train after brakes were applied.

The blue graph is for the train which stops in 5 s and had an initial velocity of 54 km/h (= 15 m/s)

Deceleration of this train is = 15/5 = 3 m/s2

The Red graph is for the train which stops in 10 s and had an initial velocity of 36 km/h (= 10 m/s)

Deceleration of this train is = 10/10 = 1 m/s2
