\mathtt\red{Given}\red{\longrightarrow}

Initial velocity =20m/s

Time Taken=0.50 seconds

Final velocity=0m/s

 retardation =  - 5 {ms}^{2}

\mathtt\pink{To Find}\pink{\longrightarrow}

Distance travelled

\mathtt\purple{Solution}\purple{\longrightarrow}

s = ut +  \frac{1}{2} a {t}^{2}

s = 20 \times 0.5 +  \frac{1}{2}  \times( - 5) \times ( {0.5)}^{2}

s = 10× \frac{1}{2}  \times ( - 5) \times 0.25

s = 6.25m
