A drought can cause the level of the local water supply to drop by a few inches each week. Suppose the level of the water supply goes drops down two inches each week. How far it will have dropped in 28 days?

28 days is 4 weeks.

(28 ÷ 7 = 4)

supposing water goes down my 2 inches per week, 4×2 = 8inches.

water's gone down by 8 inches.
