A drum of water is 3/5 full. When 57 litres are drawn from it, it is just 1/8 full. Find the total capacity of the drum.

3x/5 - 57 =1x/8

3x/5 -1x/8 = 57

( 24x - 5x )/40 = 57

19x/40 = 57

x =(57 *40)/19
