A dull witted farmer decided to count his sheep by first counting their legs. he counted 456 legs and reasoned that he had 113 sheep. Assuming each sheep had 4 legs, was he correct ​

No he was not correct because if we divide the 456÷4 we get 114

No the dull witted farmer is not correct because when we multiply 113×4 the answer is 452. if there is 114 sheep so this answer was correct.
