JunaidMirza: Mass of object is 10 kg
GeniusYH: what
GeniusYH: that's what i did
GeniusYH: oh sorry
GeniusYH: momentum = 10 × 3.96
GeniusYH: Therefore the momentum = 40
GeniusYH: approximate

Velocity when it hits the ground is
v = √(2gH)
= √(2 × 10 m/s² × 0.8 m)
= 4 m/s

Momentum = Mass × Velocity
= 10 kg × 4 m/s
= 40 kgm/s

Momentum transferred by the dum bell is 40 kgm/s
