Heya !!!
Here is your answer »»»»»
SP of the DVD player = Rs3120
Loss percentage = 4%
Hence, CP =
SP × 100/100 - Loss%
= 3120 × 100/100 - 4
= 3120 × 100 / 96
= 32.5 × 100
= 3250
Now if the same DVD player is sold for Rs 360, there will be a loss as SP < CP
Loss = 3250 - 360
= Rs 2890
Therefore, Loss% = Loss × 100/CP
= 2890 × 100/3250%
= 1156/13%
In case you ment 'if the DVD is sold for Rs 3600'
Here, it is a profit as SP>CP
Profit = 3600 - 3250
= Rs 350
Therefore, Profit % = Profit × 100/CP
= 350 × 100/3250%
= 140/13%
Hope this helps
