A electron beam enters a uniform magnetic field at right angle to it. State the direction in which this electrons beam will deflect.Name and state the principle we use to determine the direction of force experienced by the electron beam .What would happen if instead of electron beam, alpha particles enter the magnetic field with the same velocity?

the beam gets deflected to left of the mag field
the principle is Fleming's left hand rule
when fore, middle finger and thumb are stretched, forefinger pts director of mag field, middle finger pts director of current, thumb pts director of mag force
if alpha rays rays, enter they are deflected to the right side
