Given :

  • An equilateral triangle has length of 7.5 m

To Find :

  • Area of the given equilateral triangle

\huge\underline\green{\tt Solution:}

Semi perimeter ( S )  

= \dfrac{side_1 + side_2 + side_3}{2}

= \dfrac{7.5 + 7.5 + 7.5}{2}

= \dfrac{22.5}{2}

= 11.25 m

Are of triangle

 =\sqrt{ s(s-side_1)(s - side_2)(s-side_3)}

= \sqrt{11.25(11.25-7.5)(11.25-7.5)(11.25-7.5)}

= \sqrt{11.25(3.75)(3.75)(3.75)}

= \sqrt{11.25\times 3.75\times 3.75\times 3.75}

=  3.75 \sqrt{11.25\times3.75}

Answer : =  3.75\sqrt{42.1875}\: m^2
