envy is the desire to have a quality, possession, or other desirable attribute belonging to someone else. All of us have been a victim of envy at least once in our lives. I will be discussing an incident in which I have been a sad victim of envy.
When I was 14, a type of bracelet called Silly Bandz were in fashion. Several kids in my class would come to class with their arms laden with the bracelets. As my parents were jobless at the time, we were under a strict budget. Also, the bracelets were quite expensive at the time.
I would envy the other kids. I felt as if they were taunting me. But, on my birthday, my parents bought me one. I was the happiest person in the world.
In my mind, envy is just a little phase that you go through. If you are patient, eventually the envy that has been plaguing you will soon go away.
