Answer:

Essay on a winter evening

Explanation:

had a chance to spend a fortnight in a neat little place, in the month of February. The place was situated by the side of a canal. The weather was delightfully cool. Every evening, I went out for a long walk by the side of the canal.

The road was neat and clean. There was no dust. It was lined with green trees. It was a great relief to breathe the pure, fresh air and be away from the dirt and noise of the city, with all its smoke and dust.

It was the best time of the year from a health point of view. It was the advent of spring.

The trees and bushes with their new, tender leaves and flowers looked charming and beautiful. Lambs bleated and cows mooed in the meadows full of luscious grass.

Yellow mustard flowers bloomed as far as the eye could see. The air was rich with its sweet fragrance. Butterflies flitted in the air and tiny birds flew from bush to bush. They seemed to be made with joy. The cool fresh air was bracing and invigorating. It was a pleasure giving. It was rejuvenating. It was life-giving. The farmers were seen busy ploughing, hoeing, weeding or cutting the fodder. They sang rustic songs as they worked.

How sweet, charming and elevating, were their songs! The green fields and bumper crops spoke of the toil of the farmers.

Sturdy village maidens and women in their colourful dress, working and singing side by side with their menfolk, presented a refreshing sight.

Herds of cattle grazing in the grassy pasture lands, carefree birds twittering and flying to and fro, the herds of deer frisking about in the green fields, the smiling flowers and the warming sun, all combined to make an evening walk a delightful experience.

The open-air and warm rays of the winter sun is a great tonic. They pour life and energy into our bodies. They refresh us out of the wear and tear of life. Nature in winter is gorgeous.

It is resplendent. Out in the country in the lap of mother nature, one forgets the monotony and dullness of life. The tired nerves feel soothed. After sunset, a mist begins to gather. There is a chill in the air and one likes to return to the warm comfort of one’s house.

It was the month of December last year. It was the coldest day of the winter season. The sky was overcast with clouds and chilly winds were blowing. The temperature went down to minus zero degrees.

Everybody was shivering due to cold. Water froze in pipes. Nobody dared to peep out. Blankets and quilts gave no warmth. Then it rained heavily. The sun appeared in the afternoon but gave no comfort.

It was very dull I was at my house. My mother called me to leave the quilt and get ready to go out to buy some items in the market. Leaving the quilt was very difficult. However, I did it and put on my dress.

Outside it was extremely cold and foggy Nothing was visible clearly. Sunlight looked like a moonlight. With difficulty, I boarded a bus, but the driver also found it difficult to drive.

I found people sitting around the fire to get some warmth. I spent little time in the market and rushed back home. Once there, I again took shelter inside the quilt.

Hope the answer will help you plz mark it as the brainliest answer.

Explanation:

Winter is the coldest season of the year. Its duration is from November to February. In winters, days are very short and nights are quite long. There are only some days, when we get lucky enough to see sun, otherwise, it remains covered in dense fog. Out of all the seasons, winter is my favorite season. Firstly, every school announces holidays when the winter season is at its peak so it gives me an excellent time to enjoy this season to its fullest. I get to sleep in my warm blanket without having to worry about getting up early in the morning. In morning, it is all foggy on the road and fumes come out of mouth when we speak. I love to go for long walk when sun is at its peak and breathe fresh air. When there is heavy snowfall in my area and I am unable to go outside then I prefer to stay at home and read books while enjoying my hot chocolate. The beautiful sight of snow falling down the trees is very exciting to watch from my window. I really enjoy this moment. We spend really good time by doing bonfires, barbeque and drinking coffee. Every year, my grandma knits colorful sweaters and hand gloves for me and my siblings to bear severe cold. I love these sweaters and flaunt them in front of my friends proudly. There is a very different and amusing vibe that comes from winters. I believe that winter is the most colorful of all seasons and it fills me with an indescribable warmth. I love this season and I eagerly wait for its survival every year.

Thank you :)
