The various sources of indian constitution are :

i. Government of India Act, 1935: Federal Scheme, Office of Governor, Judiciary, Public Service Commissions, Emergency provisions, Administrative details.

ii. British Constitution:

Parliamentary government, Rule of Law, Legislative procedure, Single citizenship, Cabinet System, Prerogative Writs.

iii. US Constitution: Fundamental Rights, Independence of Judiciary, Judicial Review, Impeachment of the President, Removal of Supreme Court and High Court judges and post of Vice-President.

iv. Australian Constitution:

Concurrent List, Freedom of trade, commerce and intercourse joint sitting of the two Houses of Parliament.

v. French Constitution: Republic and the ideals of liberty equality and fraternity in the Preamble.

Indian Constitution came into existence on twenty-sixth Gregorian calendar month 1949. The Constituent Assembly of India written the constitution considering options of constitutions of the opposite countries further as from the govt. of India Act 1935. There as varied sources of Indian constitution for a few options of it as borrowed.

Government of India Act 1935

The Constitution of 1950 was a by-product of the inheritance started by the govt. of India Act 1935. This was the longest act gone by country government with 321 sections and ten schedules. This act had drawn its content from four sources – Report of the Simon Commission, discussions and deliberations at the Third spherical Table Conference, the white book of 1933 and therefore the reports of the Joint choose committees.
