If you look out of your window, you will see garbage lying around here and there. That's what our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi saw when he looked out. He wanted a clean India, a green India, a India without garbage. So he started the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan... This campaign was officially launched on 2 October 2014 at Rajghat, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself cleaned the road. It was performed in remembrance of Mahatma Gandhi. It is India's biggest ever cleanliness drive and 3 million government employees and school and college students of India participated in this event. This mission has many famous public figures like Priyanka Chopra and the team of Taarak Mehta ka Oolta Chasma. The mission of this campaign is to spread awareness about cleanliness to the people of India and keep India clean and green. I hope this mission is a huge success.
