Answer:Rs. 1908/- + Taxes

Explanation:

Bulbs - 5kw/day

Fans - 6.72 kw/day

AirConditioner - 1 kw/d

12.72kw X 5Rs (As per the rate in Question)

= 63.6/- Per Day

On an average the month has 30 days

63.6/- X 30

= 1908/-

The Cost of electrical energy using the given data for a month is Rs. 1980.

1) Given data,

Power drawn by the 10 bulbs= 10 * 10 * 50 Watt- hr = 5000 watt hr

Power drawn by the 12 fans = 12 * 15 * 40 watt - hr = 7200 watt hr

Power drawn by the 2 air conditioner = 2 * 5 * 100 watt - hr = 1000 watt - hr

2) So, total power utilized = 5000 + 7200 + 1000 = 13200 watt - hr = 13.2 Kwatt- hr

3) Cost generated per month = 13.2 * 5 * 30 = Rs 1980
