\rm\bf\underline{Question:}

A factory manufactures 400 boxes a day out of which 28 are detective. Find the ratio of the number of good boxes produced to the defective one

\rm\bf\underline{Solution:}

total number of boxes = 400

no of defective boxes = 28

no of good boxes = total boxes - defective boxes = 400 - 28 = 372

ratio of good ones to defective ones =

372/28 = 93 / 7 = 93:7
