A factory packs 144 ball pens in carton .They have 395 cartons to be filled . They have already made 57 000 ball pens . Do they need to make more ball pen in order to fill all cartons ? If yes, how many more ball pen are to be made else . Find out how many extra ball pen lying in the factory.

no they dont need to make more pens...and 120 extra pens are lying in factory..

144 pens in one carton so
144*395=56880
so accordingly 57000-56880 pens lying in factory

No of ball pens = 57000
No of ball pens in a carton = 144
No of carton to be filled =395
No of ball pens filled in 395 carton= 395×144=56880
No of ball pens left= 57000-56880=120
