a factory packs 288 balls in carton. it has 1975 cartons. if the factory needs to pack 864000 balls, does it need some more cartons? if yes how many more cartons are needed?

288 x 1975 = 56880
So, he needs some more cartons
864000 - 56880 = 807120
807120 / 288 = 2802.5
∴ He needs 2802.5 more cartons filled with balls.
