Correct Question :-

A factory produces 51,430 cartons in the month of March; 37,550 cartons in April and 39,578 cartons in May. If each carton contains 375 cans of juice, find the total number of cans produced by the factory in three months.

Solution :-

It is given that in the month of March, the factory produces 51,430 cartoons and each cartoon contains 375 cans of juice.

No. of juice cans produced in March = 51,430 × 375

No. of juice cans produced in March = 1,92,86,250

In the month of April, the factory produces 37,550 cartoons.

No. of juice cans produced in April = 37,550 × 375

No. of juice cans produced in April = 1,40,81,250

In the month of May, the factory produces 39,578 cartoons.

No. of juice cans produced in May = 39,578 × 375

No. of juice cans produced in May = 1,48,41,750

So the total number of juice cans produced in the three months = 1,92,86,250 + 1,40,81,250 + 1,48,41,750

= 4,82,09,250

So the required answer is 4,82,09,250
