(a) How many screws did the factory produce in 8 days?
(b) In how many days, did the factory produce 34740 screws?​

Solution :-

No. of screws produced in the month of April ( 30 days ) = 57900

No. of screws produced in 1 day = 57900 ÷ 30 ⇒ 1930

∵ the company produces the same no. of screws everyday.

(a) No. of screws produced by the company in 8 days = 1930 × 8 ⇒ 15440

(b) No. of days the factory takes to produce 34740 screws = 34740 ÷ 1930 ⇒ 18

Answer :-

(a) The factory produces 1930 screws in one day.

(b) The factory takes 18 days to produce 34740 screws.
