The cars produced in 2012 are 1,05,750.

Given:

a factory produces 375 cars per day.

To find:

How many cars did it produce in the year 2012 if there are 84 holidays

Solution:

First we have to see if 2012 is a leap year or not so we can see how many days are there is 2012

To check if it is a leap year we have to see the divisibility of last two digits by 4

12 is divisible by 4, hence this is a leap yeat

So, number of days in 2012 = 366

Now, there are 84 holidays so on those days cars won't be produced

Hence, working days = 366-84

= 282

Cars produced in 1 day = 375

Cars produced in 282 days = 375 * 282

= 105750

Hence, the answer is 1,05,750.
