A factory produces aluminium saucepans with plastic handles. It obtains aluminium from a smelter and a plastic component from another factory. All the manufactured saucepans are sent to a warehouse:

Answer:

1.(a)The transportation of aluminium would be more expensive as it is a heavy material to transport. Also it very large and requires bulk carriers.

(b) The transportation of plastic would be cheaper as it is a light material and can easily be transported.

2. Yes the cost of transporting the finished product would be more as it requires more space to fit in and also it needs lot of protection to be transported intact and not get damaged as it could leads to losses.
