A factory produces electric bulbs. If 1 out of every 10 bulbs is defective and the factory produces 630 bulbs per day, find the number of defective bulbs produced each day.

out of 630 bulbs 1/10 × 630 =63 are defective

Given that,

the factory produces bulbs per day = 630

the no. of defective bulbs in each 10 bulbs = 1

then,

the no. of defective bulbs produced per day = 630/10

= 63
