A factory requires 40 machines to produce a given number of items in 60 days . How many machines would be required to produce the same number of items in 50 days

no. of machines=40

no. of days=60

question

=machines required for production in 50 days=x

now by simple unitary method we can say that ,

if  40 machines  take  60 days for production then 1 day will take

=40/60 machines i.e 2/3 machine

so now we know how many machines  we need to produucte in 1 day

so now we can easily find for 50 days by multiplying the machines needed in one day and 50 day

=2*50/3

=100/3 ie 33.33

ie approx 34 machines are needed to do this work in 50 days.
