Answer:

SO THE RATIO BECOMES THAT :

42:56::48:X ( X IS THE NUMBER OF MACHINES REQUIRED TO COMPLETE SAME WORK IN 48 DAYS )

SO WE KNOW THAT ...

PRODUCT OF EXTREME = PRODUCT OF MEAN

MEANS THAT :

=42×X= 56×48

= 42X = 56×48

= X= 56×48/42

AFTER CALCULATION WE GET THAT

X= 8×8

X= 64

ANSWER : 64 MACHINES ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THAT WORK IN 48 DAYS .

Step-by-step explanation:

42 machine = 56days \\ 42 \times 56 = x \times 48 \\ x = 42  \times 56 \div 48 \\  = 49machines
