Solution,
Rotation per minute.= 3000 rpm.
∴ Rotation per seconds = 3000/60 = 50 rps.
∴ Initial Angular Velocity (ω₀) = 2π × 50 = 100π
Final Angular Velocity (ω) = 0
Time = 4 seconds.
Using the Formula,
ω - ω₀ = αt
4α = 0 - 100π
∴ α = -25π rad/s²
Now, θ = ω₀t + 1/2αt²
θ = 1/2αt²
θ = 1/2 × 25π × 16
θ = 200π rad.
