HEY Buddy....!! her is ur answer

Let, the Cost Price = Rs. x

Given that : Selling Price = Rs. 1288 and profit is 1/6 of Cost Price

According to the question :

1288–(x/6) = x

=> 7728–x = 6x

=> 7x = 7728

=> x = Rs. 1104

Profit = 1104 × 1/6 = Rs. 184

As we know that : Profit% = (Profit/CP)×100

=> Profit% = (184/1104)×100

=> Profit% = 16.67%

I hope it will be helpful for you...!!

Answer:

16.67%

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the cp be 'x'

SP=CP + GAIN

1288= 'x'+ 1/6 × 'x'

1288='x' + 1'x'/6

1288=[('x'×6) + (1'x' ×1)] / 6

1288= 6'x' + 1'x' /6

1288= 7'x'/6

1288×6= 7'x'

(1288×6) /7 ='x'

( AFTER SIMPLIFYING)

184×6='x'

1104='x'

Now, SP=1288

CP=1104

PROFIT = SP - CP

= 1288 - 1104

= 184

PROFIT% = PROFIT/CP × 100

= 184/1104 × 100

=16.67%
