A fan is sold for rs 660 at a loss of 12% . Find the cost price of the fan. Please give step by step explanation.​

loss in percentage = 12%

loss in amount = 12% of 660

= ₹ 79.2

cost price = selling price + loss

₹ ( 660 + 79.2 )

= ₹ 739.2
