A farmer encloses a rectangular piece of land which has an area of 2800m2 with a fence 220m long. Find the length and the width of the land using a quadratic equation.

Taking area=2800sq.m=L*B,and Fence=Perimeter =220m=2(L+B) & substituting the L value in area equation and find the dimensions
