A farmer grows wheat year after year. He founds that the yield becomes yellow. Give an appropriate reason for it?

wheat turns into yellow due to the deficiency of minerals in soil growing same crop again and again leading today decrease some nutrients into the soil like wheat requires more nitrogen to flourish so we can say that one there is deficiency of nitrogen in the soil.
we can replenish this by growing leguminous plants
