=12*7

There are two ways to find the answer. Both ways are given below :-

(i) 2/3 of cattle are diary cows

=> 2/3 of 7/16

=> 2/3 × 7/16

=> 7/24

7/24 of animals are diary cows

=> 7/24 of 192

=> 7/24 × 192

=> 7 × ( 192 ÷ 24 )

=> 7 × 8

=> 56

OR

(ii) 7/16 of animals are cattle

=> 7/16 of 192

=> 7/16 × 192

=> 7 × ( 192 ÷ 16 )

=> 7 × 12

=> 84

and 2/3 of cattle are diary cows

=> 2/3 of 84

=> 2/3 × 84

=> 2 × ( 84 ÷ 3 )

=> 2 × 28

=> 56

Hence, 56 animals are diary cows .
