Given=that a farmer has 70m of fencing which he encloses three sides of a rectangle

2.we know that the opp.sides of a rectangle is same.suppose ABCD is a rectangle....AD=X,BC=X and AB=y and we will not take CD.

3. x+x+y=70

   2x+y=70

y=70-2x....equation

4. Area=xy      ( l×b)

    600=xy

5.xy=600

Now put the value of y

x(70-2x)=600

It will become quadratic
