A Farmer has a 1 acre land of Farm house. He starts planting rose plant in his Farm. On Day 1, he plants 1 rose plant. On 2nd day he doubles the count i.e. 2 rose plants. Everyday he doubles the count from previous day. On 67th day, he covers half of his farm house. On which day he will cover the complete farm house

To Find :- On which day he will cover the complete farm house ?

Answer :-

given that,

→ Total area of land = 1 acre .

and,

→ First day he plant roses = 1

→ 2nd day he plant roses = 2

→ 3rd day he plant roses = 4

he is increasing growth of plants double next day .

also,

→ On 67th day he covers = (1/2) of his farm house

conclusion :-

  • On next day he will cover double area .

therefore,

→ On 68th day he grows plant = Double of 67th day = 2 * (1/2) = 1 = Total farm house .

Hence, he will cover the complete farm house in 68 days.
