A farmer has a field in the form of parallelogram pqrs.he took the midpoint A on RS and joined it to points P andQ.in how many parts of field is divided?what are the shapes of the parts ? the farmer wants to sow groundnuts which are equal to the sum of pulses and paddy.how should he sow? state reason

The field is divided into 3 equal parts

triangle pqr and parallelogram pqrs are with same base PQ and between same parallels PQ parallel to SR.

Therefore area of triangle PQR equal to half area of PQRS.------(1)

area of PAS+area of QAR=1/2area of --------(2)


fan equation 1 and 2 year of PQA minus area of PAS + QAR equal to half area of pqrs
