The area of square field is 576 m^2

Therefore, side^2 = 576

Side = 24 m

Perimeter of Square field = 4 x side

= 4 x 24

= 96 m

Let the breadth of rectangular field = Y m

Then length of rectangular field = 2Y m

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length + breadth)

= 2(2Y + Y)

= 2 x 3Y

= 6Y

AS PERIMETER OF SQUARE = PERIMETER OF RECTANGLE

Therefore, 6Y = 96

Y = 96 / 6

Y = 16 m

Means the length of rectangular field is 2 x 16

= 32 m and breadth is 16 m.

Area of rectangle = l x b

= 16 x 32

= 512 m^2
