Given

  • Breath= 120 m
  • length= 70 m

To find

Length of rope required to fence the field in 2 rounds

Procedure

First we will find the perimeter of the rectangular field by the formula 2(L+B). The perimeter of the field will be the required rope to fence it in 1 round. To find the length of the rope required to fence the field will be 2 times the perimeter.

Let's do it !

Solution

 \mathtt{ \pink{Perimeter \:  of  \: rectangle =  \: 2(L+B)}}

 \mathtt{\implies Perimeter  \: of \:  rectangle =  \: 2(70+120)}

 \mathtt{\implies Perimeter \:  of \:  rectangle = \blue{380 cm}}

Length of the rope required to fence the field in 2 rounds = 2 × perimeter

length of the rope required to fence the field in 2 rounds = 2 × 380 = 760 cm
