A farmer has a square field. To travel from A to C is 10√2 m. Find the length of the rope needed to fence the field.​

diagonal²=side²+side²

(10√2)²=2(side)²

200=2(side)²

200/2=side²

100=side²

√100=side

+-10=side ( distance can't be negative.)

length of rope =perimeter of square.

=4xside=4x10=40 m
