A farmer has enough food to feed 20 animals in his cattle for 6 days .How long would the there were 10 more animals in his cattle ?

Let the number of days be x.

Given that he has enough food to feed 20 animals in his cattle for 6 days.Later on, 10 more animals were added.

Therefore the number of days required to feed 30 animals:

20 * 6 = (20 + 10) * x

120 = 30 * x

x = 120/30

   = 4.


Therefore the number of days = 4.
