The number of days 20 animals were feed is 6 days

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The number of animals feed for 4 days = 30

i,e number of animals = A_1 = 30

numbers of days = d_1 = 4

Let The number of days 20 animals were feed = d days

i,e number of animals = A_2 = 20

numbers of days = d_2 = d

According to question

∵   more animals than less days

So,

animals × food  = constant

i.e  \dfrac{A_2}{A_1}  = \dfrac{d_1}{d_2}

Or,   \dfrac{20}{30}  = \dfrac{4}{d}

By cross multiplication

20 ×  d = 30 × 4

or,      d = \dfrac{30\times 4}{20}

∴         d = 6

So, The number of days 20 animals were feed = d = 6 days

Hence, The number of days 20 animals were feed is 6 days  Answer
